Dono e irmão foram denunciados por humilhar e abusar de funcionárias
Dois proprietários de supermercados em Pedro II e Piripiri, no Piauí, foram condenados ao pagamento de R$ 2 milhões em danos morais coletivos, após denúncias de assédio moral e sexual no ambiente de trabalho. A investigação do Ministério Público do Trabalho (MPT) reuniu depoimentos de pelo menos 16 vítimas.

De acordo com a procuradora Jeane Colares, as ex-funcionárias relataram abusos praticados pelo dono do mercado e seu irmão. As condutas incluíam gritos, xingamentos, toques sem consentimento, humilhações, ameaças, tentativa de estupro e oferta de dinheiro em troca de favores sexuais.
O caso expôs um histórico de abusos cometidos há anos nos estabelecimentos. A condenação busca reparar os danos causados e servir de alerta contra esse tipo de crime.
