Professores do Instituto Federal do Piauí (IFPI) paralisam hoje, por tempo indeterminado, as atividades. A principal demanda da categoria é um reajuste salarial de aproximadamente 22%.

A proposta é dividir o aumento em três parcelas de 7% até 2026.
O Governo Federal se compromete a promover um reajuste, mas somente a partir do próximo ano e, diga-se de passagem, a oferta não agrada os docentes. O Executivo quer dar 4,5% em 2025 e mais 4,5% em 2026.
A greve foi comunicada na semana passada à reitoria do Instituto Federal do Piauí. A gestão da instituição informou, por meio de nota, que “reconhece a legitimidade e a legalidade do movimento”.
Não foi divulgado levantamento contendo o número de docentes que cruzaram os braços nem quantos campi o movimento afetará.
