Ismael Silva (Progressistas) vai pegar a Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Teresina (SEMEC) com uma dívida de mais de R$ 124 milhões. O próprio vereador divulgou o rombo.

“Em nome da transparência, da lisura e do interesse público, torno pública a atual situação financeira da Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Teresina. Teremos um enorme desafio pela frente, mas não desistiremos de trabalhar em prol do fortalecimento da nossa rede municipal de ensino. Avante!”, escreveu o secretário em postagem feita no Instagram no último dia 31.

De acordo com Silva, a pasta tem que dar conta de R$ 124.503.711,00 (cento e vinte e quatro milhões, quinhentos e três e setecentos e onze reais) para pagar despesas já faturadas ou liquidadas.
O valor não inclui a dívida referente à prestação de serviços terceirizados da SEMEC. De acordo com o levantamento revelado pelo vereador, a pasta tem que debitar R$ 12 milhões para quitar os serviços realizados em dezembro de 2024.
