A famosa animação Rick & Morty passará por algumas mudanças depois que Justin Roiland, um dos criadores da série e dublador da dupla de protagonistas, foi acusado de violência doméstica.

Em um comunicado nas redes sociais oficial da produção, a equipe informou que o canal Adult Swim, que distribui a série que foi co-criada por Dan Harmon, rompeu relação com Roiland. A mensagem diz:
“A Adult Swim encerrou sua associação com Justin Roiland. Rick and Morty vai continuar. A equipe talentosa e dedicada está trabalhando duro na 7ª temporada.”
Fontes informaram ao The Hollywood Reporter (via Rolling Stone) que a voz dos personagens Rick e Morty serão reformuladas. Justin Roiland ainda será creditado como co-criador, mas Harmon irá assumir o papel de showrunner sozinho.
