Morreu no final da tarde deste domingo (05) o ex-diretor e fundador do Hospital São Marcos, Dr Alcenor Almeida. Ele tinha 93 anos e estava internado há uma semana com problemas pulmonares.
Dr Alcenor é pai do atual diretor do hospital, Joaquim Almeida e também do arquiteto Gustavo Almeida.
Ele foi vereador de Teresina entre 1988 e 1992.
O velório está acontecendo na Câmara Municipal de Teresina, e o enterro só será realizado na terça-feira (07), pois a viúva Cláudia Almeida e a filha Edna estão retornando dos Estados Unidos.
