Mônica Valéria Messias da Costa, de 51 anos, foi assassinada nas primeiras horas desta sexta-feira (26) por seu companheiro, Gil Carlos Moreira Rodrigues, de 42 anos, com cinco facadas. O fato aconteceu em um apartamento no bairro Cristo Rei, na zona Sul de Teresina.
O coronel Maurício de Lacerda, comandante do 1º Batalhão da Polícia Militar, disse que o “Gil Carlos estava viajando para o Mato Grosso e chegou há uns três dias. Ele mexeu no celular da vítima e viu algumas coisas que não o agradou. Eles estão discutiram e ele desferiu cinco facadas contra a vítima, uma na garganta e quatro na região abdominal”, informou.
“O autor possui uma lesão no pescoço. Agora cabe a Polícia Civil saber se foi durante uma possível luta corporal com a vítima ou se ele atentou contra a própria vítima. Ele foi socorrido e encaminhado ao HUT”, acrescentou o oficial.
Mônica Valéria e Gil Carlos são de Floriano e estavam morando em Teresina. O Departamento de Homicídios e Proteção à Pessoa (DHPP) está investigando o caso.
