Os dois suspeitos de atirarem contra uma mulher durante assalto foram presos no fim de quinta-feira (02/05). O crime aconteceu horas antes na zona Rural de São Pedro do Piauí, distante 110 km de Teresina. Segundo a Polícia Militar, a vítima de 55 anos pilotava uma moto quando foi abordada pela dupla.
No assalto, um dos suspeitos sacou a arma e disparou contra ela, que morreu ao dar entrada no hospital do município. A vítima foi identificada como Maria do Socorro Mendes Pinho, aposentada.
O crime revoltou a pequena cidade com 13 mil habitantes, aglomerando moradores em frente ao hospital.
