A Polícia Civil do Piauí, por meio da Delegacia de Polícia Interestadual (Polinter), deflagrou nesta quarta-feira (24) a segunda fase da Operação Choque, que visa coibir a prática criminosa de roubo de veículos.
No total, o órgão cumpriu nove mandados de prisão preventiva e oito de busca e apreensão. Durante a operação, oito indivíduos foram presos, acusados de diversos roubos de carros nas zonas Leste e Norte – em especial na Santa Maria da Codipi – de Teresina.
Após as providências legais adotadas pela Polinter, os presos ficarão à disposição da Justiça e deverão ser encaminhados ao sistema prisional.
Em setembro deste ano, a PC-PI deflagrou a primeira fase da Operação Choque, na qual cumpriu 16 mandados de prisão igualmente relacionados ao furto de veículos na capital.
