Jovens eram aliciadas para tráfico internacional e temiam ser mortas
Duas adolescentes, de 14 e 16 anos, fugiram de Teresina após serem ameaçadas e expulsas por uma facção criminosa que atua na zona Norte da capital. Elas chegaram à cidade de José de Freitas nesta quarta-feira (19/03) e, na rodoviária, buscaram ajuda das autoridades.
As jovens, moradoras dos bairros Memorare e Buenos Aires, relataram à Polícia Militar que estavam sendo preparadas para atuar como ‘mulas’, transportando drogas para outros países. Segundo elas, pelo menos seis adolescentes já foram presas no exterior pelo mesmo esquema. Com medo de serem assassinadas, decidiram fugir.
O Conselho Tutelar e a Secretaria de Assistência Social foram acionados para prestar atendimento às adolescentes. O Ministério Público do Piauí determinou medidas de proteção para as vítimas, e a Polícia Civil investiga o caso.
