Crime ocorreu pela manhã; motivação e autores ainda são desconhecidos
Francisco Akassio Santos Nunes foi assassinado na manhã desta sexta-feira (28) na Rua Manuca, em Palmeirais, a 118 km de Teresina. Segundo a Polícia Militar do Piauí (PMPI), a vítima era usuária de drogas.

O crime ocorreu por volta das 08h20, mas ainda não há informações sobre a dinâmica ou motivação do assassinato. A PM realizou buscas na região, porém nenhum suspeito foi identificado ou preso.
O corpo foi encaminhado ao Instituto Médico Legal (IML), e a Polícia Civil investiga o caso.
