Na noite desta quinta-feira (14/11), o governador Rafael Fonteles lançou a Câmara de Comércio Portugal-Piauí, destinada a atrair investimentos europeus para o estado e apoiar empresas piauienses no mercado europeu. Presidida por Daniel Monteiro, diretor comercial do escritório da Investe Piauí em Lisboa, a câmara foi apresentada na Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Portuguesa, em Lisboa.

O governador destacou que a iniciativa será uma ponte entre empresários piauienses e europeus, incentivando tanto investimentos no Piauí quanto a internacionalização de negócios locais. “Será um instrumento essencial para aproximar investidores europeus e fomentar o potencial das empresas piauienses no mercado internacional,” afirmou.
Fonteles também frisou que a internacionalização da economia é estratégica para o desenvolvimento do estado, ressaltando áreas de destaque como energia, agricultura, turismo e economia digital. “Estamos colhendo os frutos dessas iniciativas, com novos investimentos sendo anunciados,” concluiu.
