Prefeitura tem 60 dias para implementar serviço de acolhimento a crianças e adolescentes.
O promotor de Justiça, Cleyton Soares, recomendou ao prefeito de Itaueira, Dr. Osmundo Andrade, e ao Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente (CMDCA) a criação do Serviço de Família Acolhedora. A medida, assinada em 6 de março, estabelece um prazo de 60 dias para ser cumprida.

A proposta exige o envio de um projeto de lei à Câmara Municipal para formalizar o serviço, garantindo proteção integral a crianças e adolescentes. O município deverá estruturar um processo seletivo para cadastrar famílias acolhedoras e disponibilizar uma equipe técnica com psicólogo e assistente social.
Além disso, a recomendação prevê a criação de um auxílio financeiro mínimo de meio salário-mínimo por criança ou adolescente acolhido. A Secretaria de Assistência Social ficará responsável pelo acompanhamento dos acolhimentos, e o programa deverá ser inscrito no CMDCA.
