A juíza Júnia Maria Feitosa Bezerra Fialho, da 1ª Zona Eleitoral de Teresina, extinguiu mais um processo contra o deputado Fábio Novo, referente às eleições de 2024, quando concorreu à prefeitura da capital.

A ação, movida por Samantha Cavalca, acusava Fábio Novo, a deputada estadual Bárbara do Firmino e os então candidatos a vereador, Dudu e Pollyanna Rocha, de captação ilícita de votos. No entanto, após a apresentação da defesa dos envolvidos, a denunciante desistiu do processo, e a Justiça homologou o arquivamento.
Com essa decisão, já são 18 processos contra Fábio Novo arquivados pela Justiça Eleitoral. O deputado afirmou que as acusações tinham apenas fins eleitoreiros e que “o tempo trouxe a verdade”.
