Teresinha Medeiros buscou a reeleição para a Câmara de Teresina em 2024 e não conseguiu por pouco. Ela obteve 4.206 votos, ficando na primeira suplência do MDB, que elegeu três nomes.
A disputa foi contra Lucy Soares, que obteve 4.633.
